These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the WoleSSH application and related websites and services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Muhammad Hendrik Eka Saputra (“the Developer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

WoleSSH is a cross-platform SSH client that lets you save and organize SSH connections, manage SSH keys, open interactive terminal sessions, and optionally back up, sync, restore, and share your data using Google Drive, your own custom backup server, or an optional sharing service.

WoleSSH is local-first: your data is stored on your own device unless you enable an optional cloud feature.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into these Terms. The Service is intended for developers, system administrators, and other technical users.

3. Accounts and Sign in with Google

  • Core features of WoleSSH work without any account.
  • If you choose to use cloud backup/sync via Google, you sign in with your own Google account. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google’s terms and policies.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, your Google account, and your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your installation of the Service.

4. Your data and responsibilities

  • You own your data. WoleSSH does not claim ownership of the connections, keys, notes, or other content you create.
  • You are responsible for your SSH credentials and the servers you connect to. You represent that you are authorized to access any server, system, or account you connect to using WoleSSH.
  • You are responsible for your backups. If you configure a custom backup server, you are solely responsible for that server, its security, and its availability. If you lose your encryption password or private keys, we cannot recover your data.
  • Do not misuse the Service. You agree not to use WoleSSH to access systems without authorization, to violate any law, to infringe others’ rights, to distribute malware, or to interfere with or disrupt the Service or any network.

5. Third-party services

The Service can integrate with third-party services, including Google Drive and any custom backup endpoint you configure. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their handling of your data.

6. Intellectual property and license

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the Developer and/or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

You may not, except as permitted by an applicable open-source license or by law: reverse engineer, resell, or misrepresent the origin of the Service, or remove proprietary notices.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that it will meet your requirements, or that any data (including backups) will be preserved or recoverable. You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE EXTENT LIABILITY CANNOT BE FULLY EXCLUDED, THE DEVELOPER’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD 50. Because WoleSSH is provided free of charge, this amount may be zero.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, your connection to any server, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and uninstall the app. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service (or parts of it, such as the sharing service) at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

11. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service (or any feature) at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Riau Province for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where prohibited by applicable law.
